Prenatal, Childbirth and Postpartum Education

Get ready to connect with your baby, your partner and your self. Learn about how to support your body as a whole and get ready for childbirth, and postpartum.

Lets get together either in small intimate classes with just you and a partner or we can gather as a large group and support eachother.

Education Options

  • Singles

    $200

    In the comfort of your own home you will gain the confidence to enter your birth journey feeling empowered. You will know your options, hospital & home birth policies, confidence to say yes, no and how to ask questions. You will also learn newborn care and feeding tips.

    Approx. 4hrs split between 2 days additional days can be added at $50/day

  • With A Partner

    $250

    In the comfort of your home we will connect together- you and your partner (husband, wife, partner mom, auntie, cousin, whoever you want). We will give you the tools to maneuver the birth world and practice hands on supports. Plus baby care and feeding tips.

    Approx. 5hrs split between 2 days additional days can be added at $75/day

  • Group

    Cost dependent on location & how many couples.

    In the comfort of someone’s home OR a private space we will get together as a group address worries & concerns then get to the big stuff! We will practice hands on supports, coping strategies, and learn how to advocate for us, our partner and our babies. We can also touch on newborn care if time allows.

    Approx. 4hrs with a snack and refreshments included.

All classes will include both medical understanding of different procedures, and policies - along with holistic approaches to labour and childbirth. Creating confidence in you to enter your birth with knowledge and understandings of both “worlds”.

  • Singles we will talk about hands on supports but will not practice them in depth unless we have extra time.

  • Couples & groups we will practice hands on supports for labour and childbirth. Including a birth ball, birth stool, and other tools for support.

  • We will talk about benefits of different positioning and what each position is good for and different options.

  • We can talk about ways to manage discomfort during pregnancy, exercises and movements to help encourage baby to be in an optimal position.

  • Clarifying your birth wishes/desires and building your birth plan - going over what if scenarios so you are fully aware of possibilities.

  • Preparing for postpartum from knowledge about hormone drops and how to support your body through them. Diaper changes and feeding supports.
